It has semi-transparent in appearance, low gels, and odorless.It is also easily grafted with SM, so it is suitable for plastic modification. Using low mooney LBR in HIPS manufacturing can reduce the rubber particle size results in high-gloss HIPS. CHIMEI is one of few suppliers that offers low mooney LBR for high gloss HIPS manufacturing. CHIMEI's KIBIPOL® SSBR is a copolymerization of styrene and butadiene, created via a solution polymerization process. Its polydispersity is much narrower than SBR, offers an excellent balance between physical properties and fabricability. It delivers good transparency, processability, smoothness, and dimensional stability with multi-colored, pure white, or transparent designs. It can be used for GPPS modification to obtain HIPS with high drop impact strength (FDI) and low gel content. Chimei's thermoplastic rubber is a copolymerization of Styrene, butadiene, and styrene. Its segmented and radial molecular structure allows it to have the same flexible and physical properties of general rubber without the vulcanization process. Its middle segment is similar to rubber and has excellent elastic restoring force, processing flowability, weather resistance, and can be injection molded similar to that of thermoplastics.
